I offer 50 minute counselling sessions in person or via a secure virtual platform.  I also understand that not everyone will have access to a computer and so I do have the ability to conduct sessions by phone if requested.

Some of the areas that I practice in with adult clients are trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship challenges, stress management, boundaries, professional burnout, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, goal setting, unhealthy coping patterns, body image and self-compassion, and support in working through life and relationship transitions/changes.

I have recently completed additional training in Perinatal Mood Disorders and Pregnancy Loss, and am certified in EMDR therapy for trauma.

Open to all residents of Alberta

I also provide 50 minute counselling sessions for youth, ages 12-17.  I am more than happy to discuss how I will work as a counsellor for your child, as my goal is for you as the parent/caregiver to feel confident that your child is receiving counselling that is safe and supportive.

I have additional knowledge and training in working with youth who have anxiety/anxiety disorders and who are struggling with grief and loss.  I also can support in working with children and youth experiencing trauma, depression, relationship/family challenges, parental separation/divorce, and body image and self-esteem issues.

Open to all residents of Alberta.

Finding the right counsellor is one of the most important parts of your counselling journey.  I offer a free 15 minute "Meet and Greet" virtual or phone session for those who want it, to see if we will be a good fit for one another.  There is no obligation or pressure to book a follow-up session afterwards. If we are not a fit, I am also happy to provide referrals to other counsellors or supports which may be a better match!
