Kendra Sharek, BA, MSW, RSW

Hello! My name is Kendra Sharek and I am a registered Masters-level social worker, currently living in windy Lethbridge, Alberta.  I completed my Masters in Social Work from the University of Calgary in 2019, with a focus on clinical social work practice.  Prior to that, I received my Bachelors degree in Social Work in 2011 and my Bachelors of Arts in 2008.  I have over fifteen years of experience working with children, youth, adults and families in various settings including front-line child protection, schools, non-profit agencies, government social services, group care and disability services.

I grew up in Winnipeg, MB and moved to Southern Alberta for school in 2009. I would describe myself as a natural listener and observer, and someone who is on the quieter side, but still welcoming and friendly.  As a true introvert, I've never been great at "small talk" and have always been most interested in getting to know people on a real, genuine level, so it is not surprising that I have found myself in this field!  I'm not always that serious though; I love to laugh, joke, and I always try to put people at ease using my sense of humour.

When I'm not working, you can find me hanging out with my husband and our sweet, but very wild Labrador, spending time with friends and family, exercising, reading, listening to music and binging far too many tv shows.

I look forward to connecting with you!
